Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Aisman ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Aisman is a central, cloud-hosted AI-powered issue management application that integrates with AI coding agents to track software development issues. The Service runs fully on central server infrastructure. Local workspace files (such as those created in your project's .aisman directory) serve solely as an input/output communication interface between local AI coding agents and Aisman, and do not constitute a local server deployment or backend database.
3. License & Service Access
Subject to compliance with these Terms, Aisman grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the cloud Service. You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the central Service infrastructure or underlying proprietary platform software.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your user account credentials
- Ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations
- The content, accuracy, and legality of any data entered into or generated through the application
- Managing access to local project files generated in your repository for agent communication
5. AI Agent Interactions & Local Files
Aisman generates structured prompts and processes output files written to your local project directory (e.g., .aisman). You acknowledge that:
- Local files act as temporary bridge files for agent execution and are distinct from the central application database
- AI-generated code and issue descriptions may contain errors or inaccuracies
- You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and verifying all AI-generated work prior to committing or deploying code
- Aisman does not control or guarantee the behavior of third-party AI agents
- Token usage and API costs associated with third-party AI agents remain your sole responsibility
6. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all proprietary data entered into Aisman, including project metadata, issues, sessions, and notes. All central operational data is securely processed and stored on Aisman's production database infrastructure.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aisman and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Refunds
For details on subscription cancellations, refund eligibility, and how to request a refund, please refer to our Refund Policy.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
